About Us

Shado Candles were born through friendship.  One of my closest and dearest friends brought me a candle from Europe that created a shadow when lit.  My own exploration of light and shadow gave birth to the SHADO CANDLE that we know today. In our rural Rhode Island studio, we have designed over 15 images ranging from skylines to landscapes to the deep ocean.  Each design lends itself to casting a winsome image, a flickering dance of light and calm.  I find the candles to give me a real sense of peace.  I hope they do the same for you!
